Our mission is to give a voice to neglected, mistreated and endangered animals around the world by empowering the organizations, big and small, that are working to protect them.

According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, there are currently over 16,000 species of animal under threat of extinction including a staggering 41% of amphibians, 38% of sharks and rays, 27% of mammals and 13% of birds. Much of this is due to the impact humans have made on the planet through deforestation, exploitation and climate change. Further,  62% of Americans think the government is doing too little to protect animals and their habitats, yet only 3% of donor dollars in the US go to environmental and animal welfare organizations combined. We want to change that.

That’s why we are launching Wildlife Connect – a global directory and fundraising platform for animal sanctuaries and wildlife conservation projects. Our vision is to become the world’s most comprehensive database of organizations working towards wildlife conservation and animal welfare. On Wildlife Connect, you will be able to search organizations by location, species, type of work, certifications and more and discover ways to support them.

About the founder

Isaac is a social entrepreneur from Silicon Valley and a lifetime lover of all animals. Through his travels, he has had the opportunity to visit many animal sanctuaries around the world and always felt a deep connection to the work they do.

Wildlife Connect was dreamt up as part of Isaac’s Tzedakah Project for his upcoming Bar Mitzvah on October 29, 2022. In Hebrew, Tzedakah means a religious obligation to do what is right. Isaac believes that it is our obligation to reverse the role humans play in land pollution and animal endangerment and extinction.

Rather than supporting one wildlife organization for his Tzedakah Project, Isaac plans to build Wildlife Connect for many years to come that can scale to have a positive impact on thousands of organizations and millions of animals globally.
